All our fiber is grown and dyed on the farm and spun at New England mills. We choose the softest and most lustrous fleeces to make our mohair/wool blend yarns. There are a variety of natural and dyed colors to choose from. CVM wool yarn is available in a natural, light brown heathered color.

Our sheep are raised in a stress free environment. They graze on open pastures during the summer and munch local hay in the winter with minimal amounts of grain. The result is a sheep with beautiful fleece and wholesome meat without additives and antibiotics. We have feeder lambs that will be ready for processing in the fall. Lambs are also available for your spinner’s flock and to mow your lawn. Contact us for details.

All natural raw fleeces are available. We shear and sort our award winning fleeces to show at fairs or to be washed and sent to the mill for further processing. We raise Finn, CVM/Romeldale and BFL crosses, all excellent fiber breeds. If picking up a fleece at the farm you may want to meet the sheep that grew it.
Fleeces will be available at the New England Fiber Festival in November. See our Events page for more details. |
Wool from our sheep goes into the production of The Connecticut Blanket. Wool is warm, breathable and an all natural renewable resource. A truly thoughtful gift or treat yourself (you won’t know how you lived without it). These blankets come with a certificate listing all the farms that participated in the project. Your purchase helps support the local sheep industry.

The ultimate luxury to step onto on a cold winter morning. Our beautiful one of a kind skins are tanned, cleaned and fluffed to perfection. You’ll need one for your favorite chair, at the foot of the bed and of course in front of the fireplace.
Both dark and light sheepskins are available. Contact us for information. |
When we aren’t chasing goats and sheep or building fences there is time to create using our wool and mohair. Homegrown catnip mice are available year around. There are needle felted pumpkins and snow people. Knit hats of every color from mill spun and hand spun yarn. Warm felted hats and mitts for winter time gifts. And blanket bears made from CT Blanket fabric.
